Local shop had one, didn't check the bore carefully, but looked pretty clean throughout and they didn't know what to price it at. Nice bluing, stock was undinged, clear cartouche in the butt, the only downside was no cleaning rod.

I was curious if it's worth trying to pick up cheap and turn for a profit, since I know some people like them and it isn't my cup of tea, but same way, it'll probably rot on the rack forever if I don't buy it.

Depends on how cheep you can get it. There is always interest in these but not always disposable income.

I just got the best one I've ever seen for 225... and another sold recently at auction for 760. :eek: It had a long bayonet but had been sanded. Not many will spend that much though.
