Well, the purchaser can't complain; the picture of the bolt number is clear as a bell, mismatched.

I guess we now know how much one guy thought a mum was worth, maybe $750!

Cripes. $1,000 for a mismatched gun? Moreover, the stock may be a little too shiny -- like maybe polyurethane shiny. That's a very straight pod too. Hope it isn't a repro. Can't quite make out the factory symbol on the dustcover. Kind of looks like "tz" to me.

I have one as nice if not better. Doesn't have a dust cover but it's all matching including the bolt.
My 4th series is mucho better than that one. Totally matching & with it's original sling :)
I wonder what it would bring at auction? ;)

That's about as straight as a rifle as you will ever find. A-dog is not a repro part installer. Some of these rifles that were taken home saw very little if any combat action. If you look at his picture you can see a very faint outline of the monopod foot in the stock. It looks llike a shadow. It's the real deal!!!! And it tip top condition.

I didn't know he was referring to my rifle. I bought this one from Shin Nimura about a dozen years ago. Anyone who knows him can vouch for the stuff he picks up. I don't know how or where he finds them. Anyway, I was very pleased to get this one from him and it's one of the finest and most complete T-99s I've ever seen. All matching, correct & with staked screws. And, the pod is "ri" marked.

I should have made it clear which rifle I was refering to, it was not A Dogs. Insulted no I have been called alot worse but an explanation would have been helpful. I thought I must have missed somthing obvious like a series 4 never had a pod but A Dogs rifle had one as well so i was a bit confused with your reply.:?

Not to worry. It was pretty clear to just about everyone you were referring to the GunBroker T99.
