I have some Glisenti bodeo revolvers and would like to shoot them. I already make my own 442 webley ammo so I am not unfamiliar with cartridge conversion. Has anyone made any and have any tips to share? I know it is probably all in the cartridge conversion manual but that has been missplaced so I came here figuring some one has done it and would know.

Simple...Take .44Mag. or .44 Special cases, Trim to length, then size (taper) the body using a .303 British FLS Die.
Load with .425-.429 diameter "44" Cal. Cast RN lead bullets. Load the same as .44 Russian S&W loads.

Like falling off a log....

Use Starline 44 Russian cases. No trimming is required. The soft lead 180 grain bullets Hornady sells for 44-40 work well. I use 44 Russian load data on the mild side. Also buffalo arms sells a dedicated, heeled bullet mold for Italian service revolver. SW
