I was paruseing the ad's and see quite a few for Ruger 10/22 sear/hammer kits that supposed to help with accuracy.
Has anyone done one these?
If you had to do it again what would be different
the advertise the fireing pin, hammer springs, heavy duty extractor, target trigger
Im just interested in getting more accuracy outta my stock 10/22 carbine, thought about just the sear kit and a bolt buffer.
the extended bolt and mag release are not really positive assets when hunting as they snag on all sorts of stuff and inadverntantly dumps the mag when getting your sneak on.

Some of the best money spent is a volqartsen hammer/sear. Makes a big difference on the trigger pull. Adding a bolt buffer is nice and so is a power extractor. Firing pin and hammer spring is not needed. Check out www.rimfirecentral.com. There is a ton of info, especially on making stock 10/22 shoot and DIY mods.
