If you are interested in German rifles, then you should be subscribing to the Deutsches Waffen Journal.
There is also a web site devoted to the K98k at
http://www.gunandknife.com.And for awhile there was a very active interactive site hosted by the Mauser Company in Germany. This site is no longer available (as of February 1999), and most of participants seem to have moved to the Mauser forum at Tuco's, located at
http://www.gunboards.com.Many of the participants seem quite knowledgeable.
