British Rifles

There is a quarterly journal, The Enfield Collector's Digest, (http://www.alaska.net/~asmle/digest.html) published by Alaska Enfield Headquarters (http://www.alaska.net/~asmle/index.html).

David Gadbois maintains an extensive web site focused on identifying the makers, manufacturing codes and inspection marks found on the oilers that accompanied every Lee-Enfield rifle from 1888-1978 - as well as related Enfield stuff. http://www.Enfield-Stuff.com

In the Shotgun News issue of 20 February 1999, pages 14 and 15, there is a list of Lee Enfield related sites, some of which may be repeated at the Alaska Enfield Headquarters site. One site that deserves special mention is the Lee Enfield Research Page at http://www.uidaho.edu/~stratton/en-page.html. The Shotgun News article also lists some sites that "contain online (and downloadable) exploded-parts graphics for Enfield rifles."
