Hi Pete,

I've sold most of my Imperial's, with the exception of this one and a couple of Aty's. Even though it's not in "pristine" condition, I can't bring myself to get rid of it. It's so unique it still interests me to look at it.

Until Klaus Schad identified it for me, I thought it was possibly a sloppy and poorly done boost job, but it is authentic.

I thought that it might be of interest to the newer members who hadn't seen it before.

Ron,

It is a very neat gun...I understand keeping it.

I have an old 1913 Erfurt "war horse"...will keep that one as it reminds me of what a gun that went to War should look like. No unit marking, though.
