The Czech ZB26 Light Machine Gun -

Finnish KP44 and KP44 Pistol -

Finland began to develop their copy of the Soviet PPS43 SMG in 1944 with the work being done by the famous VKT plant.  These fine Finnish SMG’s are chambered in 9X19mm and will take both a stick magazine as well as a drum.  The added use of the drum magazine was a Finnish improvement on the Soviet PPS43 which would only accept stick magazines.  Also as the Finns were exacting in their production ANY standard Finnish KP31 (Suomi) drum will work on the K44 semi auto as well as the stick magazine provided with purchase.

The Military Gun Supply version of these semi autos are designed as a pistol, as the folding stock has been permanently fixed in the folded position.  This means the barrel is legal at only 10 inches with the total overall length of the weapon being 24 inches.  This means you can have the feel of a real SMG but in legal semi automatic form. These are outstanding shooters and will be a treat at the range, as the short 9mm carbine with a drum or stick magazine should make range time a blast.  The Finnish production of these SMG's was quite low and one of the lower production military arms in the world.

Finnish KP31 SMG -
A great pick for the Finnish re-enactor.

The KP31 or Suomi was the standard issue arm of the White Death in the Finnish-Soviet Winter War of 1939-1940.  The Finnish soldiers and their sub guns were much feared by the Red Army and over time these soldiers and their arms became world famous.  The Soviets were in such awe of the KP31 that they made a copy of the SMG – this being the PPD40.  These are chambered in 9X19mm and will take both drum and stick magazines.  To meet BATF regulations the barrel and barrel shroud have been extended to meet the 16 inches required by law. The PPSh41 -

The PPSh41 is one of the most historic sub machine guns of all time, as in WW2 the Soviet Union produced over 3 million in their defense of the motherland.  Known as the “PAE PAE Shaw” the PPSh41 served in the worst of conditions and was renowned for its reliability.  In the post WW2 years the PPSh41 was produced in a number of Soviet Bloc nations and it saw action in conflicts such as Korea, Vietnam, and can still be seen in various conflicts across the world.

Military Gun Supply is proud to offer their newly designed and tested semi auto version to the public at a discounted rate of $100 off the standard retail price.  This pre-sale will be limited to the first 100 orders that respond to this ad.  These fine arms were built using exceptional Hungarian 48 parts kits, which are the same style of parts used in original Soviet production.  Unlike some of the past products on the market to meet the NFA requirements the barrel shroud of the PPSh41 has been extended to cover the 16 inch barrel.  With the MGS PPSh41’s there is no ugly tube sticking out to meet these requirements. As such we have come as close to the original design and look of the PPSh41 that is legally possible.

These are designed to use both the stick and drum magazines; however, as the Soviet drums on the market are often not standard in size (fitting), there might be issues with the function of the drums in these semi autos.  This is the same as is seen in the full auto SMG’s as the fault lies in the drums not in the weapon itself. We can not guarantee this gun will work with drum magazines  As stick magazine work the best in the semi autos ONE stick magazine is provided with purchase.

In an effort to improve production time the Soviets designed the PPS43 in the middle of battles, with the test versions of these SMG’s going from production straight into the bitter house to house fighting on the Eastern Front.  In the fine tradition of other Soviet arms the PPS43 became widely known for its reliability and toughness in the field.  There will be two versions of these, the first a pistol version and the second a rifle version with an extended barrel and barrel shroud.  On the pistol version the folding stock will be permanently welded in place, which under BATF regulations means it is a pistol so can have a shorter barrel.  One 30 round magazine will be included in the price.  These will not be for open sale until July.
